Men's Breakfast & Bible Study
Atonement began hosting a Men's Breakfast beginning in the Pastor Chuck Akre years. It was originally held in the basement of the Education building. From the onset, Men took turns cooking and the Pastor led the Bible Study. The practice continued under John Peshek and Pastor Jack Drier. After Pastor Drier left, Men's Bible study moved to a local restaurant off and on for a number of years. When Pastor Drier retired from the ministry in 2006, he and his wife chose Atonement as their parish. After conferring with Pastor Jenkins, Men's Breakfast became a regular event once again.
Men's Breakfast & Bible Study currently meets on Monday mornings at 7:00 am and each week the Gospel lesson for the following Sunday is studied. Attendance ranges from 12 to 16 men and costs $3.00 per person. Women are also regularly invited on the Mondays following holiday weekends. All men are welcome whether they are members or non-members. Join us for fellowship, study, and weekly "words of wisdom!"
